Questions people ask
What is Satlights?
Satlights runs 30-minute, human-led Job Readiness Assessments for software engineers in India. Every candidate gets a written feedback report, and those who clear the bar are introduced directly to relevant employers.
Who is the assessment for?
Software engineers early in their career, freshers, and computer science students still studying in India, especially those applying to many jobs or internships without getting interviews or feedback.
I am still a student. Is it too early?
No. Students get the most from it: the report shows what hiring teams will look for while you still have time to build it before placements and internships.
What happens in the 30 minutes?
A person asks about the work on your resume in depth, tests your fundamentals and problem-solving, and listens to how clearly you explain.
What is in the feedback report?
A score out of 100, a risk band, your strengths, the red flags a hiring team would notice, and what to improve.
What does it mean to clear the bar?
Your assessment shows you are ready to be hired at your level. About 5% of candidates clear it; we introduce them directly to relevant employers.
Can I be re-assessed?
Yes. Work on your report and come back; your earlier assessments stay on record so you can see your progress.
How do I start?
